Welcome!
Let me take your jacket. Help yourself to a beverage and some food. I hit Costco, so there's plenty more. The facilites are down the hall and to your left. Please make yourself at home and roam around. You might find evidence of construction in a few areas, but the sawdust will be swept away soon. I was excited to officially open the doors and share the new design.
If you like the look and feel of this new space, all of the design credit goes to Elan Morgan — Schmutzie — co-founder of Ninjamatics. If you like the header photograph and live in or near Utah, give photographer Justin Hackworth a call to see what he can do for you.
That's all. I think this is the part where we're supposed to engage in light conversation. Pull up a chair. How are you?

Chrisy! Your new space looks FABULOUS! Go you!! XO
Fine! And you? Love your new digs, though I think I will miss your peace sign. Would love to do more than pass you in the parking lot, we need to catch up! Congratulations on the site and the book!
Oh, can't complain.
Happy blog-warming!
It looks fantastic! And I loved your about me page!
Looks awesome. Can't wait to see your book, too. cheers!
Congrats on your book and new website Chrisy! I clicked your link while perusing Facebook during a layover in Taipei, on our way to spend a year in Macau. Should be an adventure! I would love to check out your book as my friend/neighbor and mom of Milena'si close play buddy is watching my house while we are away and they happen to be LDS. I wish you the best of luck with your projects...keep in touch!
Fantastic Chrisy. I left comments and emails all over the place by now, so you already know that I think the new website is as fabulous as are you. Great job, Schmutzie et al. on the design and whatnot.
XO!
It's lovely, and so is the photo! Really well done.
Hey! I commented here yesterday and now it's gone!? I LOVE the new site. All of it! So happy for you and can't wait to read the book!
Thank you for the comments! I just figured out this morning how to have them delivered to my email, but I don't know how to reply individually to each of you.
Thank you, Galit, Schmutzie, Deidre, Kim, Rebecca, Cheri, Claire and Christy!
Palinode, what a treat to see you here. :)
And, Judy, I'm doing okay. A little stressed. And I have the peace sign = C2 + 3 tattooed on my shoulder. I'll show you!
What a lovely blog and wonderful idea for a book! When I myself was a tween and teen, I was the only baby-sitter-Mother's Helper the Mormons in our area would hire. (My father was a Church-of-Christ Deacon and I think that was partially why.) From twelve to seventeen, I spent a lot of time in many Mormons' homes, caring for their children. It was fascinating to me, they were almost all from Utah and I wondered why so many ended up in Travis County Texas! They were all impressed that I knew about the Mormons in Missouri (mostly because of family that had moved there) and that I was okay with their theology.
There is a very large temple here (Northern Kentucky) and I still get along well with all the Mormons and admire them. They do sometimes confuse me, puzzle me and I do love Orson Scott Card!
Take care,
Jenn
I love this new look - so light and fresh!
Cool. Great hair...
It looks fantastic! I actually met Shmutzie (whom spell check is now telling me should be called ShmutZoe - FYI). And I now know that she's as talented as she is lovely. So excited for you Chrisy!!
Jenn, thank you! Orson Scott Card is very popular around here. I'm fortunate enough to be in a critique group where couple of the writers know him personally. That's an interesting fact about your father, and I think it's cool that you made/make an effort to understand another person's theology. Difficult for many to do. You take care, too. :)
Thank you, Lady Fi!
Michael, it's funny you mention my hair. I had been outside in the wind and my hair was all effed up. Thanks. You made me feel better about it.
Kate, she can sing, too. I was stalking some of her old posts recently. Check out her YouTube videos. She's a lovely person, talented designer, a cool human being, and she has a beautiful voice.
Chrisy! This is beautiful. Great photo and Schmutzie did a wonderful job too. I can't wait to get my hands on your book. I'm so happy for you, I'm getting a little emotional. Lol. Congratulations! You are a wonderful storyteller and your book is very well-deserved. Reading it will be a treat.
Beautiful, Chris!!! So inviting… Congratulations on the new blog AND the gorgeous new book!
I love it!!
Poke me with a toothpick and stick a fork in me because this new design is fantasmaglorimazingous! And that header picture? The shirt, the hair, the nails the beautifully rustic chair with the sleek mac. My gasp sucked out all the oxygen from the room.
This deserves a moment clap:

Well done, Texas Blue Bonnet!
I'm so late! Has everybody left already?
The new look is fantastic, and I love that picture. Ok, I'm actually coveting your computer, but it's still a really nice picture.
I am GREAT. Thanks for asking, Chrissy Ross!!
Think of you from time to time with a warm smile in my heart.
Hope you and your 4 men are all fine.
New site looks great!!
Beautiful photo up top. Your hair is getting so long, looks pretty.
Now, I think I may go eat some chocolate.
xoxo
I love the new look! It's so...you! Welcome home. :-)
Pretty good, a little pain in the joints.
But more importantly: HOW ARE YOU???????
